Words of Wisdom

Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything
that can be counted counts.
- Albert Einstein

====================

Better learning will not come from finding better ways for the teacher to instruct but from giving the learner better opportunities to construct.
-Seymour Papert, author of Mindstorms and The Children's Machine

Note: Be sure to scroll down this page- among other things, you'll find links to
companion Ning network groups listed by grade levels from Preschool-High School.
e.g., Third Grade Teachers' Free Online Ning Network Support Group: Third Grade Teachers.
This group is also connected to the Elementary-Lesson-Share Yahoo group and its spin-offs on the Yahoo network. The E-L-S group was set up over 10 years ago so its membership is much larger, thus, the level of participation is much more active on that group at this point in time.
